How does The Giving Tree work?
The Giving Tree allows donors to select ornaments representing gifts for seniors, children, families in need, and the nonprofits supporting them. Each ornament includes details such as age, gender, and gift ideas. The Wellness Farm (TWF) collects all donations and uses them to purchase gifts directly, either from an Amazon Wishlist provided by the nominator, via Walmart gift cards so the nominee can purchase desired items directly, or as a direct donation to the nominated nonprofit.
Where does my donation go?
All donations are processed by The Wellness Farm (TWF). Funds are used to purchase items from wish lists, fulfill unclaimed ornaments, or provide Walmart gift cards to nominees without specific wish lists. Physical gifts dropped off at the tree will be distributed locally by The Well People (TWP).
Are my donations tax-deductible?
Yes, donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Tax receipts are available upon request through The Wellness Farm (TWF). The Wellness Farm Foundation is a Utah-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (Tax ID: 93-449061).
Can I nominate someone for The Giving Tree?
Absolutely! If you know someone in need, you can submit their details via our nomination form. If you prefer to keep the recipient anonymous, you can handle the distribution of gifts personally by having them sent to you.
What happens if funds are leftover or unassigned?
Unused funds will first be allocated to fulfill unclaimed ornaments. Any remaining funds will be distributed to individuals, families, or partner charities to support their nonprofit initiatives and beneficiaries. The Wellness Farm and The Well People will use their best discretion to ensure these funds reach those most in need.
What if the nominee doesn’t have a specific wish list?

How do I drop off a physical gift?
Physical gifts can be dropped off at the Giving Tree during FailedFest. If a later drop-off is needed, please email [email protected] to make arrangements. TWP will handle local distribution of these items.
Can I promote this initiative through my business or organization?
Yes! Businesses and organizations can support the campaign by sponsoring ornaments, providing donations, or becoming a Title Sponsor. You can complete our form or contact us for more details.
How can I get involved beyond donating?
